 Professional Biography & Picture

My name is Krystle Pearson and I am the Instructional Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT) for a public schools in Virginia. Prior to obtaining this position, I was a classroom teacher for four years; teaching Fifth grade for three years and Fourth grade for one. I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education (Pre K-6) from Virginia State University. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Education degree in Educational Technology and Online Instruction. In addition to being an ITRT, I have had the pleasure of training teachers on the usage of various forms of technology. I currently assist teachers and students with the implementation of Promethean Boards, SmartBoards, creating Multimedia Presentations, Document Cameras, and online educational gaming. As an ITRT it is my goal for Administrators, Teachers, Principals, and Parents to benefit from as many technology resources as possible. My vision is "Beyond the Chalkboard: Using technology cohesively through traditional forms of instruction.
